Field Applications Engineer, Hong Kong

FAE position available supporting Asia/Pacific; located in Hong Kong. Experience in power applications and design, knowledge of DC-DC power conversion for power management applications. Responsibilities include assisting customers in using Zilker Labs technology, designing and building applications circuits for target customers, influencing Zilker product roadmaps, and assisting the factory applications engineers in writing data sheets/application notes. This position requires a creative person with ability to interface directly with and build relationships with customers. BSEE and minimum 5 years of applications experience required. Some travel required.

Applications Engineer, Austin, Texas

Applications Engineer position located in Austin, TX to assist in support of worldwide customer base, including design of power supply collateral (PCBs and software) and regular interface with customers. This challenging position requires good analog and digital design skills. Power supply design experience is a big plus. Candidates must have minimum of 5 years experience in IC applications engineering and a BSEE degree. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience with Orcad, Pspice, layout tools and Microsoft Office are nessary. Some technical writing experience is also required. Candidates must have the ability to travel for 25% of business time, possibly internationally.
