Management Team

Bob Bridge, Founder, President, and CEO
Bob has been in management, marketing and engineering roles at semiconductor and system companies for 30 years, including serving as founding CEO at three technology companies. Bob has also served as an entrepreneur in residence at Austin Ventures, vice president of marketing at Agere (the network processor startup) and vice president and general manager for communications ICs at Crystal Semiconductor/Cirrus Logic. Additionally, Bob has held engineering and management positions at Motorola, AT&T corporate headquarters and AT&T Bell Labs. Bob holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. Bob also serves on Zilker Labs' Board of Directors

Ken Bass, Vice President of Sales
Ken has more than 27 years of experience in engineering, R&D, sales and marketing at various semiconductor, distributor and manufacturer rep companies.  Past roles include positions at Mostek, Dallas Semiconductor, Unique Technologies (distribution channel) and Millennium Technical Sales (rep channel).  Ken holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. 

Bill Chatterjee, Vice President of Operations
Bill has worked in manufacturing management, product and test engineering, and IT infrastructure development for various microelectronic and semiconductor companies for over 21 years. He has extensive experience in growing startup companies to high volume manufacturing with international vendor partners. Prior to Zilker Labs, Bill worked at a number of specialized semiconductor assembly and test vendors serving high-performance markets, including FET, Kimball Electronics, Elmo Semiconductor and DPA Labs.  Bill holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from the University of Southern California

Scott Herrington, Vice President of Engineering
Scott has more than 20 years of experience in IC design and engineering management. Most recently Scott was Vice President of Engineering at two semiconductor startups, Server Engines and LayerN Networks. His work experience also includes ESS Technology, Crystal Semiconductor/Cirrus Logic, Ross Technology, Lattice Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. Scott holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and has authored numerous patents.

Shari Joseph, Chief Financial Officer
Shari brings more than 20 years of high-technology business and financial management experience to Zilker Labs, including extensive experience with both public and privately-held companies. Previous experience includes positions at Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector (now Freescale Semiconductor) and numerous interim CFO positions at technology startup companies through Bridgepoint Consulting. Shari holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mike Stefani, Vice President of Marketing
Mike brings 27 years of experience in product marketing, strategy, sales, and business development for component and software companies.  His product focus includes semiconductor power, signal processing, and networking components in addition to power supplies.  Mike has extensive new product definition and development experience delivering innovative solutions and high value products for challenging customer needs.  Past roles include positions at Vicor Corporation, Artesyn Technologies, Netsilicon, Allegro Microsystems, and Analog Devices.  Mike holds a BSEE from Brown University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Chris Young, Chief Technical Officer
Chris has over 20 years of experience in the management of research and development of state of the art electronic systems.  Most recently, he was one of the founders and vice president of technology at ColdWatt, Inc. Prior to that, he held technical and engineering management positions at leading companies including Dell, Astec Power, Lucent/Bell Labs and Unison Industries. His educational background in both Physics and Engineering gives him the foundation to provide technological vision and engineering leadership on a wide range of issues.  He has authored numerous publications and patents in the areas of pulsed power, power control and conversion, and stability analysis.  Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Texas and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
